How to Get Rid of Piles Home Remedies


Piles also are known as “Hemorrhoids”. There are two types of piles.


Internal Piles


Internal piles are those that form above a point 2 to 3 cm inside the anus in the upper part of the anal canal. Internal piles are usually painless because the upper anal canal has no pain nerve fibers but they often bleed painlessly.



External Piles


External piles are below from that point. These piles develop under the skin around the outside of the anus. They can be itchy and painful.

The accurate cause of hemorrhoids is unclear, but they are linked with increased pressure in the blood vessels in and around the lower rectum, the anal opening and anus area. This pressure can cause the blood vessels in back passage to become enlarged, swollen veins and inflamed.

The following are common signs and symptoms of piles:

1.    Bleeding after a bowel movement.
2.    Itching around the anus and irritation.
3.    Pain around the anus area, particularly while sitting.
4.    Feeling pain during bowel movements.
5.    One or more hard, painful swelling around the anus.
6.    Tissue bulges out from the anus.
7.    Feeling of the hard lump around the anus.
8.    Pressure on bowels after the toilet.
9.    The area around the anus may be red and sore.
Clogging is one of the fundamental causes of heaps. Piles can be caused standing or be sitting for extended periods. To overweight can also be the cause of piles. Not enough exercising also invites the piles. Smoking is also the reason of piles. Lifting heavy weights also the reason of piles.

Pregnancy is also being the cause of piles. They can be painful and remain on for a longer period causing agony. Irregular eating patterns and not taking required vitamins, minerals in food also cause the piles. Lack of proteins leads to weak muscle tissue and slows the healing process of wounds.

Piles can be a sign of general weakness in the veins. Piles don't always cause pain or other symptoms. If you do have symptoms, consult with a doctor.

 1. Aloe Vera:


Aloe Vera is the very helpful natural elements that assist the quick relief from piles. One good thing about Aloe Vera is that it can be used for both, internal piles and external piles. For treating external piles, take a small amount of Aloe Vera gel and slowly massage the anus area. Aloe Vera provides almost instant relief, especially from itching and the burning feeling. For internal piles, cut stripes of the Aloe Vera leave dispose all the thorns and freeze it. Then apply it to the infected area for the double action of a cold compress along with a condensation of inflammation.


2. Apple Cider Vinegar:


For external piles, soak the cotton ball with pure and natural apple cider vinegar, for instant relief; apply it directly on the piles. While applying it directly, it may cause a hurtful feeling for some time but that will instantly decrease itching and pain. For internal plies, a teaspoon of vinegar with water may provide relief from pain, itching and bleeding.

Soaking the inflamed area in a tub of warm water but not hot water for 15 to 20 minutes may provide instant relief from pain and itching. Clean the area gently with the wet towel so not to dry it. Never use a dry tissue to mop the affected area as it may cause scratches that can worsen the swollen vessels. Always use a non-perfumed, non-medicated wet tissue to clean the wound and drying out the skin. Doing on regular bases it may help in reducing piles effectively.

Vitamin-E Capsule:

Placing of vitamin-e capsules in the opening of the anus also helpful to sooth the area and re-hydrate it. Apply a little amount of witch hazel regularly in the inflamed area, it reduces pain, itching, and bleeding.


4. Tea Tree Oil:


Mix one or two drops of tea tree oil with a carrier oil like castor oil or sweet almond oil and apply it directly over the swollen area with the help of a clean cotton mop. Doing this regularly will decrease the piles until it heals completely. Using the small quantity of olive oil with food on a regular basis might raise to a better condition and working of the bowel movement. It also boosts the elasticity of the blood vessels.

5. Sit Bath:

Sits bath is most common and effective home remedy for to instant relief in hemorrhoids. Sit in a hot/warm water in the tub for short time. It improves blood circulation in the rectal region and promotes healing. For this remedy, you need two things.

A) Sit Bath Seat or Plastic Bowel Seat(in which you can sit easily)
B) Warm Water


Put Sits bath seat on your bowel seat and fill it with warm water or hot water. Not put too much hot water it may damage your skin badly. You have to keep changing water to keep it warm. Sit in warm water it for 15 to 20 minutes. If you are using, plastic bowel then follows the same method except for putting plastic bowel seat on the floor and sit on it. You should feel awkward but after some time you will feel to relax and comfortable.


Repeat this procedure two times a day, and you will find great relief.


Note: Few changes in lifestyle like drinking additional water and retaining proper hygiene will helpfully in getting rid of piles quickly. Constantly wear comfortable clothes to decrease irritation due to piles.
